Updating account data

Dear players! A big event is waiting for us this year: we will be "moving" from the current RQ Launcher to the B.A.S.E. Launcher.

This will solve some of the gaming problems, as the current website (royalquest.com) and the associated RQ Launcher have many features that hinder gameplay and effective development of the infrastructure surrounding the game.

The B.A.S.E. platform already has all the functionality you and I need. In the summer there will be additional features that the RQ Launcher doesn't have.

And we believe that the time has come to prepare for this move.

The first stage of the move is the updating of registration data. In summer it will be possible to transfer your current account from the current launcher to B.A.S.E.. It will be possible for those accounts that have current (not forgotten, available to the player) emails. And in the fall of 2024 will be closed the ability to play through the RQ Launcher.

We ask all players in the nearest future to 1) go to royalquest.com , open your Account, 2) go to "Settings and Security" and 3) check that your account is "linked" to the actual email to which you have access.

We know that moving is a troublesome and nervous business, so we will prepare some nice gifts for you. But all details about this will appear later.

A few answers to questions that are sure to come up:

What is B.A.S.E.? This is the first time I've heard of it!

B.A.S.E. is a gaming platform with a luncher of the same name. Since last year our Royal Quest servers have also been accessible through it. We announced the appearance of B.A.S.E in December 2023.

What will happen to my account progress?

All characters and items will remain intact when you move. The move does not affect in-game entities, only the game's download point and login point will change.

Do I need to create a B.A.S.E. account now?

If you don't have one, you don't need one. If you already have one, fine: it won't interfere with your move.

Do I have to rush to link my email to my account now?

You don't have to hurry. We will not start the move before July. But we plan to complete it by September.

Will it be possible to play Royal Quest through the current Launcher after September?

No, in September it will be possible to play through B.A.S.E. only.

What happens if I don't add an up-to-date email to my account before September?

First of all, you will miss out on the nice bonuses that players will get on B.A.S.E. this summer. Secondly, you will have to contact Support to get your details changed to up-to-date and then move to B.A.S.E.
